My 20th Bday in Miami!!

Club 20

Hello beauties,

Cheers to a fresh new decade! As many of you may know, it was recently my birthday so I am writing this article to share with you how I celebrated. For all of us, 2020 is the year of quarantined birthdays so we may as well share our interesting experiences! I hope you can find some inspiration from this.

I am really excited to now enter my 20's and I hope this decade will be filled with love, joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Thank you to my friends and family for all the love and super sweet birthday messages!!

The weekend before my birthday, we went to go visit my grandma and has a small surprise birthday party- cake, gifts, yummy food, and lots of laughter. Because I was in Milano for the past 6 months, it had been a while since I last saw her so it was real nice to visit.

Birthday Breakfast

We went to B Bistro in Brickell and had a lovely family breakfast. For a little review on our experience, check out this article.

Mini Spa Day

After breakfast, we walked over to Brickell City Center to get my nails and hair done. I am a very simple person when it comes to my beauty preferences, so I opted for black for my nails, which I got done at Brickell Nail Bar. For my hair, I did a simple wash, blow dry, and flat iron for a sleek and clean look. I got my hair done at Sean Donaldson Hair.

Golden Balloons & Virtual Call

My mom and sister got me golden '20' balloons so we took some cute pics with them as soon as we got home! From there, I ate lunch with my friends and had a virtual birthday party on Google Meets. Like many of you, this was my first time hosting a virtual birthday party so it was definitely something to remember jjaja! Lots of love for all my friends around the world; so grateful for technology that we can still "hang out" even if its not in person.

Dinner Party at Vista Miami

After lots of digging, I was able to find such a nice restaurant to host my dinner party. My close friends and I got to meet up and spend the night here before Miami's curfew kicked in. Of course, it was not like a normal birthday dinner because everyone had to wear their masks (when not eating), and stay as spaced out as possible but we still had such a good time just being together. Shout out to my girlies for being so beautiful and amazing, much love!

The theme of my dinner party was basically three parted. My birthday outfit was 007 inspired; see more on that here. Vista, itself, was more tropical, beach themed. And my birthday cake theme was that of a fairytale floral garden. No surprise, we had a little bit of everything I love mixed in one!

Cake Time

My little fairytale garden came to life with this custom cake. Click here for the details on this cake designed by moi :)

Make a wish!

That's a Wrap!

After my dinner party, my mom, sister, and I hung out together at home, drank some champagne, ate some more cake, and opened up my gifts. So thankful to have had an amazing 20th birthday with the ones I love. Cheers to all the mems and to many more!!

Love always and forever,

Moonchild Vale
