Sit-down interview with Jennifer LePage: Founder of She's An Angel

This is the very first sit-down interview I am publishing on this site. I aim to do many more in hopes of sharing the thoughts and ideas of inspiring/successful people across all walks of life.
In this interview, I sit down with fellow Miami native and founder of She's an Angel, Jennifer LePage. She's an Angel is a Miami and NJ/NY based fashion brand, which focuses on selling items such as swimwear, dresses, and accessories. Angels all over the world find and share inspiration, grace, and beauty via the eloquent items sold by She's an Angel.
What’s the best part about being a business owner? The most challenging?
The best part of being a business owner is that you get to be your own boss. The most challenging would be getting your business out there.
Do you have a most loved quote that always keeps you inspired and motivated?
My favorite quote that always keeps me inspired and motivated is: “She believed she could so she did”.
When was your business launched?
My business was launched in March 2019.
What inspired the concept behind “She’s an angel”?
What inspired the business name She’s an Angel, was my grandma's nickname Angel.
How would you describe the typical clientele that purchases your items?
I would say the typical clientele is young and may be in college/recently graduated. Someone that loves fashion and supports small businesses.
How do you select and design the items to include in your collection? I get the products on a website from China. I get my inspiration from Instagram and Pinterest and that’s how I get my products for She’s an Angel.
Can you tell us a little bit about the current collection? What is your favorite piece and why?
The current collection is a mixture of all the seasons. I would say all of them are my favorite...haha! But, if I had to choose, my favorite would be the silk leopard print scarf because there are so many ways you can style it.
Are you originally from NYC? If not, when did you move here?
No, I’m from Miami Fl; I officially moved to New Jersey in August.
Why did you choose to have your business be based in both Miami and NYC? What do you like most about both of these cities?
Because I’m originally from Miami, FL and this would remind me of my hometown. Furthermore, I put NJ/ NYC because I moved to New Jersey to be closer to New York, plus I always find a way to be in NYC. I love how they’re both different from each other.
What is your favorite thing to do in NYC?
My favorite thing to do in NYC is to go exploring. I love going to museums, and visiting new places.
